Northern and Shell Magazine Case Study

The Challenge

Since 2006, N&S have required subscription management for four titles – OK!, Happy, New and Star – plus order processing and customer service facilities.

The Solution

The bespoke subscription management database that Asendia created and now hosts include a full reporting suite for subscription data, data profiling and financial management. Asendia updates and optimises current subscriber data. A dedicated order processing and customer service team at Asendia’s in-house customer contact centre deals with telephone and web orders, subscription payments, postal responses, back issues and customer queries. Asendia handles the fulfilment and mailing of all four titles from its 43,000 sq ft ISO 9000-accredited mailing house.

Managing the database means Asendia can easily update and optimise current subscriber data. The customer service team manage the whole subscription, payment and queries process, which maintains consistency and efficiency. N&S have made significant cost and time savings by using Asendia to manage, enclose and mail out these four titles.

Asendia's press and publishing solutions make cross-border business simple and dependable; bringing your publications to readers all over the world.
